KEEP is a free health screening program offered by the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin for individuals at increased risk of developing kidney disease. (Must be 18 years or older and have one or more of the following: diabetes, high blood pressure, parent or sibling with diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney disease.)

WHY GET SCREENED?
- To find if you are at risk for kidney disease
- To learn more about kidney disease, especially if you are at 'high risk'
- To receive free testing if you are at increased risk for kidney disease
- To be more informed so you can discuss any risk factors you may have with your doctor and discuss a treatment plan
- To prevent or delay kidney damage if you are at risk
TESTS AVAILABLE
- Blood pressure, height, weight and waist measurements
- Blood and urine tests for signs of diabetes and kidney disease including: blood sugar check, blood test for anemia, urine dipstick test for protein in urine, serum creatinine to measure how well kidneys are filtering blood, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) to test for kidney function, HDL and LDL lipid panel to test cholesterol, calcium test, phosphorus test, PTH test
